The founder

Tiyiselani.

Self-taught home baker. One oven, one notebook, and a habit of writing down what finally worked.

How it started

Nobody taught me.

I started baking at home in Tsakane because I wanted something warm on the table, not because I had any training. There was no culinary school, no professional kitchen and no mixer — just an ordinary home oven that runs hot on one side, and a lot of batches that came out flat, pale or hard.

So I started writing things down. What temperature. How long the dough sat. How thick I rolled it. After enough pages, the failures stopped being random and started being fixable — and that notebook is really what Tee’s Warm Delights is built on.

How it’s going

From one notebook to two businesses

The bakes pay the bills. The eBooks pass the notebook on.

The orders

Scones, biscuit boxes, muffins and platters, baked to order by the litre and collected from Tsakane or sent by Uber and courier. Everything comes out of the same home kitchen — there is no second location and no staff bakery.

The videos

Most bakes get filmed. That’s how more than 168,000 people ended up watching a home oven in Gauteng, and how most of my customers found me in the first place.

The eBooks

People kept asking for measurements in the comments. A comment is a bad place for a recipe, so I wrote proper ones — gram weights, timings, the small details — and started selling them as eBooks.

What I believe
A recipe you can’t repeat isn’t a recipe. It’s a lucky day.

The kitchen

Everything here is homemade — literally.

Every scone, biscuit and muffin on this site came out of a domestic oven in Tsakane ext 8. That’s not a marketing line, it’s a constraint I bake around, and it’s why the eBook recipes work in your kitchen too. They were never written for a bakery deck oven.
